CRN-Guard Major Changes

Following an extended period of development and public beta testing. CRN has announced the transfer of all CRN-Guard assets to ChevLink Technologies.

The well-known Discord security bot, previously operating as CRN-Guard, has been officially rebranded and is now known as ChevLink Cyber.

CRN-Guard Basic Release

CRN Guard’s new Network Ban feature is now live for all partnered communities.
The system allows approved CRN staff to issue network-wide bans through a secure proposal and approval process.
Additional detection tools and automation updates are already in development and will roll out over the coming weeks.

CRN's Safeguarding Lead, Bowie, has been dismissed following a private disagreement with the CEO concerning the legality of certain organisational actions.

The CEO has confirmed that Bowie will not be returning to his role.

New Age Requirements 

CRN has implemented updated age restrictions across all departments to strengthen safeguarding standards. Executive, Operations, Security, HR, and Safeguarding roles now require 16+, with 14+ limited to internships only.

These changes ensure safer, more compliant service delivery across our entire network.

CRN has launched an upgraded reporting portal for more precise threat triaging, alongside a revised reporting flow that now prioritises immediate and active threats over non-urgent or inactive ones.
