These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website crnsecure.com (the "Site"), including any subdomains, features, services, dashboards, reporting forms, and related tools provided by Cybersecurity Response Network ("CRN", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Part 1:  Terms and Conditions (Core Terms)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Site, submitting reports, accessing dashboards, or participating in CRN services (including network participation for communities), you represent that you are at least 13 years old (or have parental consent if under 13, in compliance with COPPA and UK GDPR) and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy (available at crnsecure.com/policy), and, where applicable, our Community Regulations (available at crnsecure.com/community-regulations).

2. Description of Services

CRN provides cybersecurity response services, including incident reporting, community safeguarding, dashboards for members and staff, network participation for Discord communities, and related tools. Services are provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at our discretion.

3. User Accounts and Dashboards

  • To access certain features (e.g., member dashboard, staff tools), you must create an account with accurate information.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

4. User Conduct and Submissions

You agree not to:​​​

  • Use this Site for unlawful purposes or in violation of any laws.

  • Submit false, misleading, or harmful reports.

  • Upload viruses, malware, or disruptive code.

  • Harass, abuse, or harm others.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or systems.
     

Incident reports and submissions become our property (with anonymity preserved where requested), and you grant us perpetual, royalty-free license to us, store, and process them for providing services, compliance, and improvement.

5. Community Participation

Discord communities participating in the CRN network must fully comply with our Community Regulations. Participation constitutes acceptance of those binding regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site, content, trademarks, and materials are owned by CRN or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

Part 2:  Terms and Conditions (Additional Provisions)

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CRN, its officers, staff, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Site, submissions, or violations of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the Site or others.

11. Change to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be posted with a new effective date.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may link to third-party sites (e.g., Discord, Roblox, Wix). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

13. Children's Privacy

We comply with COPPA and UK GDPR for users under 13. See our Privacy Policy for details.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Florida (US users) or England & Wales (UK users), except where prohibited by law. Class actions are waived.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:​​​

  • The laws of the State of Florida and the United States (without regard to conflict of laws principles) for users in the United States or elsewhere.

  • The laws of England & Wales and the United Kingdom for users located in the United Kingdom.
     

In case of conflict, the law most protective of user rights under applicable data protection regulations shall apply. Jurisdiction and venue shall be in the courts of Florida (US) or England & Wales (UK), at CRN's election.

16. Miscellaneous

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement.

  • No waiver of any term shall be deemed ongoing.

  • If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
