The Cybersecurity Response Network (CRN) is a dedicated community-driven organization committed to safeguarding online roleplay and gaming communities from cyber threats, harassment, and exploitation. We provide rapid, ethical, and confidential incident response services, empowering community leaders and members to maintain safe and welcoming environments.

Our Team
Corporate Oversight
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Description: Leads CRN's overall vision, direction, and partnerships. Oversees all divisions and sets corporate policy.

Notes: Has final authority on network operations, public releases, and division appointments.
Directorship
Director of Technology (DoT)
Description: Oversees all of CRN’s technological initiatives, systems development, and infrastructure. Ensures the smooth operation of platforms, automation tools, and defensive technologies. Works closely with the CTO and Senior Systems Engineers.

Technical Division
Senior Systems Engineer (SSE)
Description: Leads the development and maintenance of CRN’s technological infrastructure. Designs secure systems, oversees technical operations, and mentors junior staff.

Operations Division
Incident Response Lead (IRL)
Description: Commands CRN’s operational teams during active digital incidents. Coordinates responses, deploys investigators, and ensures rapid resolution with minimal risk.

Internal Security Division
Chief Investigator (CI)
Description: Oversees all internal investigations within CRN, ensuring that policies, conduct, and data handling remain compliant. Leads the investigative team and reports directly to the Director of Internal Security.

Safeguarding Division
Safeguarding Supervisor (SS)
Description: Leads the Safeguarding Division and ensures all safeguarding policies, welfare protocols, and behavioural guidelines are properly enforced. Handles critical cases and liaises directly with the Director of Safeguarding.

Notes: Holds authority to suspend users or staff under investigation. Requires high emotional intelligence, discretion, and safeguarding certification. (Also known as "Safeguarding Lead")
Human Resources Division
HR Manager (HRM)
Description: Leads the Human Resources Division, overseeing recruitment, training, and internal staff wellbeing. Works closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and ensures policies align with CRN’s ethical and legal standards.

Public Relations Division
Senior Communications Manager (SCM)
Description: Leads all public relations initiatives and oversees communication across CRN’s platforms. Develops public statements, press-style releases, and manages crisis communications when required.

Notes: Works closely with the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) and CEO for official publications. Must exercise precision, discretion, and clarity under pressure.
Internship Programme
Intern (INT)
Description: An entry-level trainee role within CRN, designed to introduce members to the network’s operational systems, protocols, and responsibilities. Interns rotate through key divisions to gain practical understanding in cybersecurity, safeguarding, communications, and internal operations.
