This document constitutes the legally binding regulations for every Discord server ("Community") that participates in the Cybersecurity Response Network (CRN). Participation in CRN automatically creates an enforceable agreement under the laws of the United States (State of Florida) and England & Wales. Violations may result in immediate removal from the network, public blacklisting, network-wide bans, and referral to law enforcement where required.
1. Eligibility & Core Requirements
1.1 Minimum of 250 genuine human members (verified periodically via Discord API).
1.2 Full and ongoing compliance with Discord Terms of Service, Discord Community Guidelines, Roblox Terms of Use, and Roblox Community Standards.
1.3 Any Community found supporting, endorsing, or tolerating violations of Discord or Roblox ToS will be immediately and permanently removed from CRN with no appeal.
2. Mandatory Discord Security Settings (Non-Negotiable)
2.1 Verification Level must be permanently set to High or Highest.
2.2 Explicit Media Content Filter must be set to "Scan media content for all members".
2.3 AutoMod must be fully enabled with all available rules active at maximum strictness, including but not limited to:
- Profanity & slurs
- Sexual or suggestive terms
- Personal information
- Malicious or adult-site links
- Spam / mention spam
2.4 Failure to maintain these settings is grounds for immediate removal.
3. Family-Friendly & Child-Safe Mandate
3.1 The entire server must remain strictly family-friendly at all times.
3.2 Zero tolerance for:
- Swearing, profanity, slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory language
- NSFW or sexually suggestive content of any kind
- Grooming, sexual conversation, or predatory behaviour
- Sharing or requesting personal information from minors
- Promotion of self-harm, drugs, alcohol, weapons, or illegal activity
3.3 Any prohibited content must be deleted and the offender permanently banned immediately.
3.4 Suspected child grooming, exploitation, or CSAM must be reported to CRN and appropriate authorities (NCMEC / IWF / local law enforcement) within 24 hours.
4. ChevLink Cyber Bot & Network Ban System
4.1 Network bans are mandatory — every participating Community must opt in and remain opted in.
4.2 Use of the official ChevLink Cyber bot is highly recommended but optional; Communities that opt out must demonstrate equivalent protection during audits.
4.3 By participating, you authorise ChevLink Cyber to automatically enforce network bans across your server for confirmed child-safety or cybersecurity violations.
5. Inspection & Audit Rights
5.1 CRN Staff have the right to inspect any member Community at any time (with or without notice).
5.2 Inspections may include:
- Audit logs
- Server settings (verification level, AutoMod, permissions)
- Moderation records
- Public and private channel samples
5.3 Directors must cooperate fully and implement any required changes within 48 hours or risk immediate termination.
6. Director Accountability
6.1 The Community Director is personally responsible for compliance.
6.2 If the Director violates these Regulations, ignores reports, or allows prohibited behaviour, the entire Community will be removed from CRN — no exceptions.
6.3 Directors may also receive a permanent network-wide ban.
7. Required CRN Reporting Channel
7.1 All CRN-protected communities must provide a visible method for members to report serious safety or security concerns directly to CRN.
7.2 Communities must maintain at least one public channel containing a direct link to https://crnsecure.com/report.
7.3 The reporting channel must be accessible to all members and clearly reference CRN.
7.4 The CRN reporting route is intended for serious incidents, including but not limited to safeguarding concerns, NSFW involving minors, doxxing, raids, organised harassment, or major platform ToS violations.
7.5 Routine moderation matters remain the responsibility of the community's internal staff team.
7.6 Failure to maintain a visible CRN reporting channel may result in suspension or removal of CRN coverage following notice.
8. Violation Consequences
- 8.1 Minor violations → Formal warning + 7-day remediation
- 8.2 Major or repeated violations → Immediate removal and public blacklist
- 8.3 Child-endangerment or ToS violations → Immediate removal + law-enforcement referral where applicable
9. Termination
9.1 CRN may terminate any Community's membership instantly for any violation.
9.2 Communities may leave with 30 days' written notice, provided no violations are outstanding.
10. Governing Law
10.1 This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States and England & Wales.
10.2 Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida or England & Wales at CRN's election.
11. Acceptance
By adding the ChevLink Cyber bot, joining the CRN network, or displaying CRN affiliation, the Community and its Director(s) confirm they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by this Policy in its entirety.
